The Spanish word "congelar" means to freeze. Interesting to see how words evolve!

Cereza lavish ultimately comes from latin lavō "to wash" and llover comes from plovō "to rain"

Cereza Llover comes from vulgar latin Plovere, but the word for "to wash" is lavar in Spanish, a cognate with our "lavish"

Thank you Arika, can you help with the word; maneuver ? Is it an Arabic origin ?
@Ketchuz7 жыл бұрын
Abu Feras Abdullah It comes from man- (meaning "hand") and -euver comes from a word that means "work." It literally means "handwork," or work that's done with the hands. Edit: Those are all Latin roots, so no Arabic in that word.
