You have made me intrigued to read Maugham in past videos and when I found Of Human Bondage I had to pick it up. I loved it! Will definitely read more of his work and continue to listen to your recommendations 😊

Yay Flavia!! There will be one more book in the series. He has an audio interview with Jane Entwistle, who is the narrator of the audiobooks, on his Facebook page. I highly recommend it! The audiobooks are amazing if you haven't listened to them yet.

Thunderbolt Kid 💖! I remember losing it when he was describing the 'culinary prowess' of the women who cooked for the church? Family? Can't remember the event, but his memories of the food brought tears to my eyes 😂 xox

I really love your videos! You talk slowly and that helps me to learn English.

I read the first Flavia book years ago and loved it, got it from my library, and haven't gotten around to reading any of the other ones. Really have to get back into them since the first one was really good. So many books so little time.

Great video! I remember loving the first Flavia Book. 😍 My favorites of March were The Fellowship Of the Ring and Slaughterhouse-Five. Also I just finished reading “The Phantom Tollbooth” and it’s one of my new favorite books ever.

Great video as always. Will check out Flavia at the library. In March I read quite a few books including "Sour Dough" Sloane, "The Amateur Marriage" Tyler, "Breakfast at Tiffany's" Capote, "Autumn" Smith. Have you read "The Book on the Bookshelf" by Henry Petroski? I'm hoping to read it soon. Since you loved "O Pioneers" I highly recommend "Freckles" and it's sequel "A Girl of the Limberlost" by Gene Stratton-Porter. If your Kindle there works the same as here in the US you can get them free on Amazon.

Books about book shops, eh? Why does that sound so intriguing? Perhaps a video of your favorite(s) or a list somewhere for us to check out would be in order? Just a thought. As always, thanks for making my toRead list longer. ;)

Hi Lesley, have you read any books by Kazuo Ishiguro and Haruki Murukami before? Kazuo’s books The Remains of the Day and An Artist of the Floating World and Haruki’s The Wind Up Bird Chronicle are beautifully written. I’d like to hear your thoughts on these books if you have read them

Garbage? Well, that's rubbish! As usual nicely reviewed, you made me listen to your thoughts on Mary Poppins. I thought the last Bill Bryson book was a bit of a disaster so I may read Thunderbolt Kid again....

Do any of you know what is WordsofaReader job and how many hours a day she works? I would need help with balancing job and other things in my life so I'd be interested to know if she balances reading with a 09 - 19 job or if she works less or part time or doesn't work, in order to understand what are my realistic goals.
