People took advantage of me for 70 years. Because I let them. When I started taking care of myself, I began to lose "friends". It is a difficult transition, but even as an old man, there is time for me to enjoy my growth. I have never been happier and my life has become more simple and at one with myself and the universe. Namste friends....

You mean , taking care of himself is better than others !! Become selfish ? I never used rude behaviour to anyone nor become angry . I prayed for everyone except myself. Yes people , subordinate staff also humiliated they never understood , I tried to not hurt anyone . Results it's disturb my inner peace also outer disciplines . I can't change myself better to loose anything.

@@stockmarketnewsUpdate Friend, what matters is that YOU know how you act and how you feel. It is not selfish to take care of yourself, it is the path to growth. The one thing that we know about the future is that everything changes. Love yourself and you will have more love for others. How you act is who you are. Your words are those of compassion, and kindness is never wasted. In the end, you will have few regrets in life, which is peace and contentment. I respect you.

This story has shown me the error of my ways. I now see that giving in to people all the time doesn't make them happy; it makes them manipulative. I am not being kind by allowing others to trample over me. I am enabling them to act on the dark side of their nature. I wish I had learned this years ago, but am grateful to see the wisdom of this at age 58. Thank you for sharing this story.

If you observe the comments, you will find most being compliant with your message. But judge the smart comments! The example of a king seeking guidance, when he has had the best training beginning with his childhood, is perhaps to instill humility. Today's problems concern marginalising some people and preventing their progress , creating submissiveness. Many of those who have the means to do by their high contacts this will strangely be quoting scripture and and clamber for leadership in a community doing "good" works. Also in spite of knowing the cases of bullying will take pleasure watching the misery. Those who have compassion cannot fight such organised history sheeters!

I have been to some of the villages in Bihar where the Buddha taught the four noble truths. One of them is Bhatgawan mispronounounced as Bandagawan in the Mahaparinirvana story. Very educative. I do research on how Buddhism disappeared in Bihar. I realized it never disappeared from Bihar. Buddhists simply failed to research Indian Buddhism. They looked at Buddhism through the sphere of their own cultures searching for only the Buddha. Buddha had a myriad of names in different villages according to his teachings there. Example. His favorite teaching was 'Lust and desire causes pain. Remove lust and desire, and pain is removed'. Translated into Bihari (where the Buddha story took place) it is DHUKH HARAN meaning to remove dukha. Three dozen villages pray to DUKH HARAN Baba. Its clear that DUKH HARAN Baba is none other than the Buddha. Problem is Buddhists are searching only for the Buddha. In the real Vaishali the Buddha begged for alms. The locals there pray to 'BHIKHAINI' Baba (Beggar Baba). Bhikhaini was mispronounced by Buddhists as Bhikshu. Who is BHIKHAINI Baba. The Buddha no doubt. But people are searching for a man called Buddha. In the real Vaishali, in Beluha the Buddha suffered a sickness and felt he had grown old. The locals pray to 'BURHA' Baba (Old Baba). Who is BURHA Baba. The Buddha no doubt. In the real Vaishali the Lichavies pressurized Buddha not to die. They trailed him to Bandagawan pressurizing him not to die. To put pressure in Hindi is DABESHWAR. Three dozen villages around the stupa where Buddha gave the Lichavies his patra, the villagers pray to Baba 'DABESHWAR NATH' meaning the man who won the pressurizing game. It was the the Buddha no doubt as he gave the Lichavies his patra and succeded in sending them back. But Buddhists are searching for the Buddha. Forgive me for commenting out of the topic. I just wanted to impart this information to you.

Bad things happen to everyone, all of us we’re in the same circle. Good people suffer a lot from complaining to themselves because they don’t know how to say no to others, thinking they’ll be rejected, and that brings them always down. You have to be out of your comfort zone, you gotta fight for your right, you must say stop to everything that annoys you, be you, love yourself, and people will love you as well, believe me, this is my story with all people, I used to be kind to everyone and give a lot without receiving anything, since I started travelling by myself, I meet soo much people and I learned a lot, now I’m so proud of myself, i have cool and good friends, and most of people respect me cuz of the way I treat them too, I left toxic things and say no to any poisonous energy, and I treat people how I wanted to be treated, Believe in yourself and love yourself first❤️❤️🙏🏽

There was a time when I was used and tortured in a bad way by my own old classmates (thank goodness I am in a girls school till now). Then at the age of 12, I came to find out that I was too much good. So till today, I am trying to be an extreme bold but soft from inside. Just because of this story. Namaste.!

At last I have been explained what has happened to me. Some time ago I started to put in practice a defense technique which is similar to your story of the snake, I call this defense technique "the slap" and it consist: if you bully me, you will get from me a strong hurting speech which is like a slap which will calm you and stop messing with me; and if you continue the harassment, then I unleash the tiger within me though my eyes and voice. This has helped me a lot to get rid of the bullies who have been men, women, younger and older. Namaste.

True and amazing story. If you become angry by others behaviour than become like ducks, Who indulge in a sudden reaction or fight with whoever bothers them and than float away in peace like nothing happened. Never let anybody invade your peace of being always respond and be in your power. After that don't run that experience in your mind ever. Be at peace ☮️
