Which cafe is your favourite? :) Also - someone please help a confused ハーフgirl with her yukata/kimono knowledge! 🙏

Great vid ❤❤ Can't help you with yukata knowledge sorry, but think the blue bottle cafe did it for me. I'll have to get my kids to pop in when they're there in November. Looking forward to their trip so much.

I was at the Shibuya Blue Bottle back in March and never even realized that there was an upstairs. Such a tranquil space. Great vlog!!
@oliviaimamuraАй бұрын
Yeah I guess the stairs are kind of hidden in the corner! Next time try the upstairs, much calmer :)

you should do a series (mix in here and there) doing/learning traditional Japanese things, like the tea ceremony, visiting shrines, onsens. I think your tattoos may limit the bathes.
@oliviaimamuraАй бұрын
Yeah actually I'd love to try learning tea ceremony! Thanks for the suggestion :) I'm sure there will be more bits and pieces of connecting to my Japanese roots!

Have you tried soaking a tenugui in cold water (or even water straight from the tap), wringing it out, and then draping it over your neck? I find that that's a really effective way to feel cool and it dramatically reduces the effects of the hot sun. When delivering chocolates to my friends, I used a cooler bag to keep the chocolates from melting, and left the tenugui in the bag to absorb the condensation. Afterward -- super cold towel! But that's obviously over the top and I only had done it that way since I had to keep the chocolates cold. :)

What products (if any) do you use for your hair?! I love how your natural curls were popping in this vlog! Def going to visit Trunk Lounge when I'm back in Tokyo this October:) Alllssssoooooo...if you did a vlog dedicated to pancakes I'm sure we would not be opposed~😍

Thanks for loving my frizzy curl mess ❤️ After washing my hair I scrunch in some Cocunat curl spary. I bought it while I was in Finland but they don't seem to deliver to Jpn so will have to figure out something else once I run out! Hahah a request I'd love doing but perhaps not the best for trying to stay fit 😄 Let's see, maybe I could film it over a longer period and then just compile the clips 😌
@sc_733Ай бұрын
@@oliviaimamura ooooo I am definitely looking up that spray! And yeahhh you do have a point😅 I feel like all that carb consumption from eating so much pancakes in one go would make me so bloated haha!

Hey lovely! Nice bouncy curls, you look fab :) How much would you say you spend at a café vs a coworking space? I get distracted by people around me easily, so I mostly work from home (also, not a big snacker.) But I want to try and work from a public place a couple of days a week at least when I'll be in Tokyo later this year, it would be a shame to just inside all day obviously.
@oliviaimamuraАй бұрын
Hey you 🫶 Thank you love! Depending on whether you choose to just have a drink or a snack to go with it, I'd say 600-1500 yen would be typical. I find it to be a nice way to experience new spaces and areas. Although working from home or familiar places tends to be more efficient and hassle-free. But would definitely encourage you to try especially when travelling!
