Similar weather as Northern Finland. Sometimes snowmobile trails are good shortcuts. But with a little twist the tire grip will disappear, so the larger gear will only be switched on. Thats is sport(: Good video.

In wisconsin they don't allow bikes on the snowmobile trails; someone will run you over!

I would like to see some snow in west coast california but at the same time..I'm a bit glad that I won't be riding in that kind of weather. I just started commuting to work since early-spring till now and in the next coming months it'll be my first time riding through autumn and winter. We don't get snow but we do get rain..I just hope my cycling kit is enough to keep me dry during downpours and such.

Thats excellent riding. Last time I did that I was on my morning paper route (mid 1980's) with my Sanwa 10 speed. I would just wedge it in a snowbank and walk if it got too deep.

Nice ride! What lights you are using? Are they connected to power bank?
@CrazyCyclingVlogger7 жыл бұрын
Thanks. On my handlebar I have 2 or the Cygolite TridenX Xtra 1300 lumens. Also on the handlebar I had on Gemini Duo 1500 lumen light. On my head I had a Genesis Voltz head strap lamp. I was running all the handlebar lights on 900 lumens each and the head lamp on 1000 lumens. They all had their own batteries...

Lower tire pressure for these conditions or the same year around? I read they go from 15 to 30 psi. Further up north I'd bike like this but I'm in a different area now where its only like this for about a week in winter months.
@trust59777 жыл бұрын
What few vehicles there were seemed to give you some decent space. Were the bike paths rideable for the commute home?
@CrazyCyclingVlogger7 жыл бұрын
No doubt they were. Probably though I was crazy and unstable. Haha. Some paths were some weren't. Some that were plowed became problematic again due to wind blow snow drifts since it remained windy for quite some time after the snow stopped.

hi, are those studedd tyres? how do those tyres work on ici conditions?
@theejoeylee5 жыл бұрын
Like Velcro on ice & hardpack...the loose stuff needs deep tread in addition to the studs...depends on the day really in winter.

I wonder if a velomobile would be better for snow, perhaps a trike would be safer as well, finally a bicycle fited as a snowmobile could be also a option
