A nice adventure for your nephew and your pooch. Got a big kick out of Balto standing proud in the boat. He looked like an unlikely mix of Jack Russel terrier (dad) and Great Pyrenees (mom). Terriers are derermined little buggers:)

I agree that wild strawberries are the best. If you ever plant them in a garden let me know. My Grandfather was a farmer and passed on his farming knowledge to me. Something most people do not know is that strawberries are a 3 year cycle. Also sprinkle pine needles on them as fertilizer. They will double in size. Did you know milkweed is not only good for Monarch butterflies but great on mosquito bites. Stops the itch right away. Here in New Hampshire it reached 35C for 2 days. Today will be 31C. Very humid too. I check your weather every day because the weather you get today I will get in about 2 days. Miss Snow was so good on the boat. She's a "special" puppy.--Barefoot John & Maverick xx

One of my fondest memories is of my lifelong friend were on a fishing trip and we found a huge field of wild strawberries. We ate and ate and did not get much fishing done. That was in the 1960's and is a cherished memory.😊😊

Goodmorning friend, Summer has started. Fresh picked strawberries. We just started strawberries , a gift ftom a neighbour but we got few. Not bsd for first planting. As you we use our power station gifted from you. To power with solar is on our bucket list ( so are a lot of things lol). A fishing trip with family (nephew Abslom) perfect. Whst beautiful scenery. We are so luvkymin Canada. Yourcguide saved the day with stills. A good man. Then back at home cooking fresh fish. Ro says thus can't be beat. Night time with heat lightning just fits with a summer evening. Prepping your gardens for planting and more fresh veggies is truly a taste delight. Ro and I are doing the same. From the garden yo plate Can't forget Miss Snow she is slways by your side. A true companion. A great story video in your wilderness. Thanks fir kitting us see uiur life. I grow them wild strawberries where I've got the soil built up with lots of compost I was just out in the garden yesterday aerating them with my Garden Claw Gold just like the one you're using that I've had for almost a half of a century now alota years man them strawberrie's do have the potential to get really big and they're like a million times better than a store variety strawberry and they do make the best jam you oughta try a good broadfork to turn your garden with they go fast and turn the soil really deep I'm gonna get out the old solar panels and charge up the Bluetti power station today (if it's not too cloudy that is) ... You really know how to live pretty girl out in them woods 😁👍 🎯

Love that you went fishing with your nephew. I love taking kiddos fishing and when we had my first daughter my sister in law said, “Oh no what are you going to do with her when you go fishing? “ I just looked at her and replied, “Well taker her with me of course just like my daddy did with me and my siblings.” And both like fishing, but my younger daughter prefers to swim in the lake. Hello Lisette and Good Morning. I have ate wild Strawberries as a child, they were still around then, maybe they still are but on someone's private property. They DO taste different, a 100 times better and more flavorful than store bought. Where I live (Maryland) there are some Farms where they grow Strawberries and you can pay to "pick your own" they are pretty good!😋 Very Cool you got to go on a fishing trip with your Nephew, looks like you all had a blast! Miss Snow was really enjoying it too. That puppy was So Cute!!😊 I live about 3 miles from a River and there are lots of Smallmouth bass and Walleye pike too. Lately (the last several years) an Invasive species has infiltrated the River. They are called Snakehead fish. They grow to a pretty good size and they're aggressive predators with a mouth full of teeth! The Smallmouth meal you prepared looked so good!😋 (All of your meals look Delicious!!) That's a Heck of a way to till your garden but it looked like it works.
