I'm going to be honest dude, looking at the results so far you have made I felt happy by watching the progress, I been looking at your videos since you started reviewing gunpla and you have made a lot of progress, not just at building and painting, but you took your gunpla love to the next level to the point you create a MS you love.

Henry, I will admit that I was a little worried at times that you had lost some of your interest in the project, but after seeing this, I know that it couldn't be further from the truth. This is impressive beyond what I could have hoped for you. I'll be rooting for you the whole way through.

@Exavolt12 жыл бұрын
Wow.... That thing is beautiful. I hope you plan on running these in some kind of modelling contest somewhere because this one would win hands down. Wish I could scratch build like this but I have enough trouble working my airbrush already as it is heh

Great work man! Absolutely love ur reviews. Very inspiring! … And, I agree with “Mystersnow”; Bandai should hire you! Also I have a small idea; if you need to know the exact amount of resin needed for your cast so you won’t waste any or run short; hold ur molds tightly then pour water in the molds then collect it back in a measuring cup. Again, love ur reviews and keep up the good work!

Nice work as always. How often do we modeling fans get to go online and see that a fellow builder has finished a scratch-build? That's a rare treat. Do you get many bubbles in your castings? That's been a significant problem for me in recent years - I got myself a pressure pot to mitigate the problem (which has really helped a lot!)

Even if its still just mostly resin parts at this stage it really does look very good. Do you have any plans to make more molds of the OZ project kits? Or is this just a one time thing?
@Gigmagig12 жыл бұрын
I find it amazing how a video can even get a couple views when its only been up for a minute.
@legendfang12 жыл бұрын
You should keep the original parts you scratch built and recast as all resin parts. If you ever have or need to make more part you can without taking apart the kit. Its more work but will save time in the future.
@metaleggman1812 жыл бұрын
Wow that's amazing! Have you ever thought of doing this at least semi-professionally?

Gundam Planet is a great site with stuff always in stock and HLJ has plenty of sales but make sure to mind the shipping costs from Japan. You need a credit card of course but I believe you can buy prepaid ones. Hope that helps
@chanalex712 жыл бұрын
If that's 1/100 scale I want it. Others have suggested selling resin copies in previous videos. I understand you did say once that you scratch built the Leo and were proud that you had something no one else had. I won't force you, but how much would you think you'd sell a resin copy for? $15-20 an hour for your labor to fill the molds, etc? Obviously the price of the materials to make the cast, would be in the 100-ish dollar price range? I'm talking about this virgo and perhaps future products.

I'm not Henry but i'll chime in, you need to set up an account with an online store before you can order (most stores require this!) you need an email address, home address and billing address to set up the account. Next you need a credit card or debit card, if you don't have one maybe your parents can make the purchase for you. Be careful and use a wellknown supplier. Do you know any one with an ebay account? There are many people that sell on ebay and you could find a good deal there as well.

you should really consider entering competitions, with the skills you have you would do very well also have youthought about selling some recasts? maybe potentially on gundam-eclipse? when i seen virgo assembled my i think i might have broken my jaw, due to it hitting the floor to hard.

what kind of paint did you use on the silicone molds to label them? I've tried Mr. Color, sharpies and pen ink but nothing seems to stick on to the Allumilite silicone.
