It takes a long time to land a job in Saudi. Try to differentiate yourself and your application in a way that you stand out from the competition. Also if you know anyone there, try to enlist their help. Finally, I recommend visiting Saudi and meeting potential employers in person.

You’re most welcome and glad you found the videos useful. About salaries: you can consider this figure of multiply by 3-5 times as a general guideline and not a hard-and-fast rule. There are many variables in determining ones salary and many variations across employers. Many factors also influence salary including nationality, qualifications and previous experience. I could try to make a video about daily expenses and thanks for the suggestion, but there are many variations in that, too.

Hi Bilal! In most cases you need a teaching degree. The Saudi government has become strict on awarding visas for people with a degree title that matches the job description. But it depends on your situation. If you have another degree and a TESOL cert., and you’re a native English speaker, you may be able to get an ESL teaching job. The thing is in Saudi there are lots of grey areas as far as the visa rules. I would say try and apply if you have a degree and a TESOL. Good luck! 🍀👍

1. Check which professions have been Saudized. 2. Get my “Jobs in Saudi Arabia” packet (link in the pinned comment and description of this video) there is a list of banks in it. 3. Go through your contacts if you have any in Saudi 4. Go to Saudi for a month to look for jobs personally. Good luck!
