Shirley Tatha after working on a few sets I can say it’s true for most things like school dances they play a few seconds of the song before they start filming so we know what it is but we dance in complete silence and for scenes like walking though the school hallway we have to mouth words and make as little sound as possible so they can clearly hear the main actors of the scene
