dude I worked at McDonald's when I was 16 and I had the same chicken nugget experience you did. One manager said oh yeah go ahead and eat it while another manager caught me and said do it again and you're fired. What made me quit was that I caught one of my managers smoking crack in the basement and he threatened to kill me if I told the head manager who ran the restaraunt. From then on he saw my silence as a free pass to bully me every time I worked the same shift as him. Eventually I got tired of it and told the head manager all about the bullying and quit. I can't tell you how many times one of my co-workers or I would get in trouble for doing something and when we try to defend ourselves by saying the other manager said it was okay, we would be told 'well I say its not okay' and still get in trouble.

I work at a restaurant and we had one worker go to the washroom. It took this guy 45 mins and when he got our manager ripped into him cause he missed the last half of the rush. Anyway another had gone to the washroom a little after that and she had been in there for maybe 2 minutes. This guy just started yelling at her and was all like; "and what were YOU doing in there?!" To which she replies; "I was sacrificing a goat to satan." I was dying of laughter.

I didn't work at a fast food place but I did work in the back of a somewhat decent restaurant and I absolutely FUCKING HATED WORKING THERE. I made drinks, and the most stressful thing was when waitresses would come in and incoherently babble their order at you and then expect you to make it instantly, like you dont have 7 other waitresses who want the same fucking treatment. And when we had rush hour, we would have large families coming in so I, by myself (mostly), would have to make like ten drinks in one go. So one waitress would come in and place her drink orders for the big ass family she was serving and I would make all her drinks. So I put all the drinks on the table where I'm supposed to, and I wait for the waitress to come back and get her drinks. BUT while I wait for that waitress, I have to refill the ice bucket, so I'm pretty distracted doing that as well. Then another waitress would come in, assume the drinks on the tables are her orders, THAT SHE DIDNT EVEN PUT IN,and take them without asking if they were hers. Then the waitress who actually put in the order for her big ass family, would come back, see that some drinks were missing, and THEN FUCKING YELL AT ME BECAUE APPARENTLY I DIDNT MAKE SOME OF THE DRINKS SHE ORDERED!! NO BITCH I MADE THEM ITS JUST YOUR PUNK ASS CO-WORKER FUCKIBG TOOK THEM VERY WRONGLY ASSUMING THEY WERE HER'S!!!! long story short I got fucking fired for being "too slow" but what did they expect when they hired a 5 foot bitch with no upper body strength to run around and make drinks and lug around giant tea makers??!?!? Fuck them. And Fuck all the plate line boys who said they would molest me and couldn't go five minutes without coming into my area and telling me they're "high as Fuck"

I worked only 2 years at McDonald’s and some things that happened are: 1. A manager did cocaine in the boys bathroom 2. One manager told us all to empty our pockets after HE miscounted the money at the end of the night 3.our roof began to leak during a thunderstorm. We needed buckets in the kitchen to catch the leaks 4. A coworker of mine rode a dumpster through our parking lot 5. A couple of my coworkers damaged not one, but two different cars by having a stack of milk crates fall on it 6. I exploded a fire extinguisher 7. A customer came through the drive through with a shopping cart... and we let him order 8. An old man came through the drive through with a motorized scooter... and we let him order too. 9. We had a new manager from another store close our store early because she wanted to go home 10. One time all of our grills stopped working and we couldn’t sell any burgers for 2 hours. 11. We made McTimbits with deep fried bun, cinnamon packets and sugar packets. (Secret menu item btw) 12. Once I showed up to a restock shift where we have to wait for a semi truck full of the next weeks product to come and we unload it for three hours. The truck never came. Me and my coworkers got paid to sit in our parking lot listening to the radio for four hours 13. A manager gave us orders through a helium voice 14. Someone jumped down an entire flight of stairs and put their knee through a wall 15. Someone threw butter at us from up front and it landed in the toaster, setting it on fire 16. One time the power went out but we had the only power for blocks. 17. We only got one 30 minute break for anything over a 5 hour shift 18. We’ve had 4 people get critical burns within about 8-9 months

He told me about how this one time somebody took a Big Mac bun, grilled it and made it look like one of their hotcakes, and then served it as a hotcake to somebody. 2:18 same thing happened to me when I volunteered at an animal shelter! A staff member told me it was totally fine to take a kitten out of the kennel to hold and cuddle it. I began doing it every time I came in, and was always careful and made sure the kitten was safe. Staff members saw me do this, and even DID it with me! Me and like THREE staff members would have a party, cuddling kittens in the hall of the shelter. Then, a WEEK later this really old woman with a blue shirt that said "STAFF' on it, she was like in her 70s, had no business working at an animal shelter at her age, FREAKED out, yelled at me about holding the kitten,, and when I tried to explain to her I was told different she was just like "I said NO!" Like this old hag was talking to me like I was some stupid 4 year old who didn't even belong there. (FYI I'm 24) As you can imagine, it was one of the many reasons I stopped working at that place. Idk what it is, but there is ZERO communication with stafff/managers at ANY place. Mcdonalds, an animal shelter, it doesn't matter, there's no communication. And in the end, the new worker gets yelled at.

I work at a Maccy D's over in the UK. The store I work in is a 24 hour restaurant so you can only imagine how busy we get and all the weirdos we get :/ So anyways, I usually work the night shift until 6 in the morning, so I deal with a lot of drunk people on my shifts. There was this one time where this guy THREW UP IN FRONT OF THE TOILET in the men's room. Not in it, but IN FRONT OF IT. So I had to clean it up. Fuuunnn. There were times that people have pooped themselves in the store, there were used condoms laying around, and fights that break out on my shift. So it gets so stressful. And honestly, I really hate working there sometimes. But the amount of nice people I work with really helps me put of the crap I deal with. And it is such a laugh sometimes :D I know I will miss working there one day :)

Oh yeah, that manager thing, so at my McDonalds One manager has the idea of "if you make it, you can have it" Another manager says you need to pay for food, but drinks are free another manager you need to pay for anything and another you can't even drink water while they're working.

My JTC teacher has worked just about every job on the planet. Even in the army! That guy is 70 years old and probably had over 50 jobs.

1:53 FYI You DO get free break meals while working at McDonald's. I worked at two McDonald's restaurants from 2016 to 2017 (one corporate store and one franchise store). Just don't eat food out of the infrared racks like that, as it is unsanitary.

You don't throw away grease into a dumpster, they have a special grease bin where you just pour the stuff in; I know, because we had to do that at the McDonald's I worked at.

You know it is not suprising. I worked at Mcdonalds too and had almost identical experiences like guy on the video. It doesn't mean that one of them is copy cat it just means that job at Mcdonalds suck balls. Not only sustomers treat you like shit but managment treats you like a shit too.

They constantly have me working back cash. It's harder than it looks to do it. There's this one co-worker there that had to work two weeks straight without a day off. He had to come in on his days off. It sucks working at McDonald's. Especially with the cowbell noise and everyone yelling "Quarter!" Ugh... I don't really want to work there, but it's the only place I can work until I can actually drive myself and work at other places.

That's not how you should get/eat employee food even if it's free. Like just make yourself a four piece and eat in a designated area outside of the kitchen; health code regulations first bro. McDonald's is unsanitary enough without employees eating straight out of food storage mid-shift. I'm aware you no longer work there but consider it advice for any future endeavors in the food industry as well as a few words of wisdom for those lurking in the comments.
