Workbench - Quick, robust and inexpensive

This is a Trailer for my series on making a workbench. I want it to be quick, robust, versatile and inexpensive. The timber cost me pennies short of £100 and I'm going to re-use the vice hardware from my existing bench.
It has dogholes, a tail-vice, face-vice, sliding dead-man and a configurable tool well. What's not to like?

Excellent design. Could you tell me a reason to use clamps if we have holdfast?

Thank you, William. In a word, flexibility. I have only two holdfasts, but lots of clamps, and sometimes I need more than two at a time.

Some good ides on there Steve,. especially in the well. I might remake mine after 35 years faithful service. Unlike you Ive raised mine as my back is stiffer. :-)

Same here. Bending over my old bench was becoming a killer!
