@@workbenchhobbies4316 I've never left. Sometimes I just don't feel a comment is required because its been said by others. I always watch and I always give a thumbs up. I have much admiration for the work you produce. Sorry, but I can't make ACT to meet you in person. I wish I could.

All good. I didn’t mean to suggest you’d gone anywhere 🙄 Just nice to see so many familiar names. Truly grateful for your support. Shame about ACT. Would have been nice to say hi. Next time 🍀

Beautiful camo job Clayton! I wish I had the patience (and skill) to attempt something similar. Do you find the lacquer paints superior to acrylics? I have heard that they can be tricky to use. Looking forward to the next episode mate. Cheers!
@workbenchhobbies4316 Жыл бұрын
Hey Gary. Lacquers run rings around acrylics and are soooooo much easier, forgiving and durable than acrylics. That’s not to say you can’t achieve amazing results with acrylics, because you absolutely can, but lacquers really are superior for general spraying. Hope that helps. 🍀🍻
@workbenchhobbies4316 Жыл бұрын
…but in saying that I was assuming you were using an airbrush! Brush painting is far better suited to acrylic paint. (These are the things I think about at 2am in the morning!)

@@workbenchhobbies4316 - LOL! Same here mate. I don’t sleep very well these days, so I too find myself thinking stuff like this at all hours of the night. Sometimes I build a whole model in my head before I have even opened the box 📦! Unfortunately, the real thing never turns out as well as the award winning kit in of my dreams. All I can do is keep dreaming. And yes, I use an airbrush (as best I can). Cheers mate!

Hello If you could go all out on the kit what aftermarket would you use now that you built it OTB?
@workbenchhobbies431611 ай бұрын
It pretty much needs help with everything but the track section and the thickness of the armour would be my biggest criticisms so replacing the track and drive wheels with a 3D printed part (readily available) and definitely some sort of etch set to thin that armour down. Thank you for joining in 😀
