Workhorse Chassis W24 Dash Error No J1939 and No J1850 Activity

If you see No J1850 Activity on a WorkHorse Chassis make to check all battery cables at the battery as well as the cables destination. Check the ground cable from the battery down to the frame remove it it sand it clean and reinstall, also check the main positive connection at the fire wall just to the right of the firewall fuse box big red cable with brass nut. check the ground strap on the rear of the left hand cylinder head.

Would anyone out there in the winnebago world know anything about this problem I’m having? I have a 04 winnebago adventurer and I have a load buzzer on none stop. The cluster doesn’t work but if I turn on the lights the cluster starts working again but says check battery voltage. when I turn off the engine, the buzzer continues nonstop, and the ABS light turns on when I turn off the ignition off and the keys out of the ignition stays on. I plugged in a engine code reader and it had a code PO650 I’m at a loss for now, I took a fuse out to stop the buzzer, but it stopped all the dash cluster lights not to work, but the buzzer stopped. If anyone has an idea what I should check that would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help in this matter.

Each one is different, ours has a hinge on the front / windshield side of the plastic dash assembly. I just lift up on the front edge and it tilts toward the windshield.

Hey there, great video. My problem is similar, when I turn the key no nothing happens until I turn on my head light switch, then the gauges start working. After a minute a buzzer comes on and never stops, then when I turn off the engine and pull the key out of the ignition the buzzer stays on, and a ABS light comes on and stays on, and the cluster mileage reading stays on. I pulled out the fuse that turns off the cluster off and the buzzer and ABS light goes off. I thought the cluster was bad so I sent it out to be rebuilt but that did not seem to fix my problem. If anyone has any ideas I would surely appreciate it. 2004 Winnebago adventure, workhorse chassis.

Great trouble shooting! So, Kevin, what does your schedule look like. I have a two speed fan on the drivers side that when I turn it on low/high, I don't remember which, my radio goes out.

+1 SUB here because I see you did a good job of fixing it, pointed out several things to check for and didn't waste any time getting to it. I'm in the market for an RV and just found one my wife and I both like with a W24 chassis in a 2006 Winnebago that I hope doesn't sell before I can get it. Any warnings or advise for us?

That's not you Cluster you have there is it?

Not my RV but I used my cluster as a test to confirm the cluster was not at fault so I new to look elsewhere.
