Cool, another thumbs up for your vid, finally found some info in Alldata searching 'bus'. Chrysler called the system 'Chrysler Collision Detection Multiplex System (CCD Bus), really nothing helpful however.

+Martinloren R&D - yes, 1st time I feature that capability within HScope in a video. A similar 4.0v differential is used in drive-by-wire throttle bodies so the Math Module CH1+CH2 would be helpful there as well.

So I am trying to understand a few things. When a scan tool plugs in to the connector, it is reading those pulses. And in scan tools that can command things, bidirectional controls, it generates commands and communicates with those same signals. They also r used in module to to module communication. Is that pretty much accurate? Thanks for a great vid and build!!

+Bill Rimmer - not quite like that, Bill. The oscilloscope is looking at the traffic between all the modules on the network. The scan tool is communicating with the modules, asking for values held by the modules and with expensive bi-directional models to write to those modules. See how that's a different way of thinking about the two tools?
