Working Artist Vlog 42: Yard Art Blast from the Past - The Big Mural

My town does something called "Yard Art" every year. It's a town-wide celebration during which people put art in their yards. I'm trying to decide what I should do for 2024. In the meantime, I'm sharing this video all about my 2021 project: a giant hand painted 18-foot mural that wrapped around the tree in my driveway.

I know you aren’t necessarily looking for ideas, but along the same idea of the poles would be colorful bird houses. You could collaborate with someone in town to construct them and you could paint and embellish. They would be practical and fun!!!!

I remember this; it was fabulous. I love the idea of garden totems. I might have to 'steal' it. I remember productions from high school where we made large murals. Watching you work on yours brought back those wonderful memories.
