Thank you for the video! I am hoping that you can assist me with a question I have. I own a 2017 Jaguar F-Pace and was recently told by the Jaguar service department that I need to have my thermostat, front and rear water rails replaced. I’ve heard of a thermostat but what exactly are front and rear water rails and what purpose so they serve? My extended warranty doesn’t want to cover the water rails. Are these parts essential to my car running properly? Thank you for any help you can provide!

A year later but. As a JLR tech. Most of our coolant leak concerns are these. The crossover pipes in the back and the front/under the supercharger. Are very prone to breaking and the water pump prone to leaking/ thermostat prone to not functioning usually when one of these items fail. We replace all because they will also fail. Either from fixing the leaking component causes that pressure to be back to normal and breaking the older weaker item. So we replace all to ensure no future issue
