We are in a hotel in Mitchell tonight and tomorrow. We watch you all the time. We went for a drive this late afternoon and saw one of your semi's and followed it. I'm pretty sure it may have been Jeff driving comfortable (both feet flat on the floor) I like driving like that too. Watching Cole, the South Dakota Cattle Farmer hobble around on his bad knee, it occurred to me the differences between a cattle farmer and a South Dakota cowboy. Cole runs around in the 100 degree heat trying to stay cool wearing a tee shirt and short pants while working cattle. A South Dakota cowboy would be wearing a long sleeve shirt buttoned all the way up and a tight fitting pair of Wrangler jeans with a leather belt and a belt buckle about the size of a 1959 Cadillac hubcap. Not only that, where Cole wears some kind of long stocking over his bum leg, a South Dakota cowboy would be wearing an Ace bandage over his bad knee ON THE OUTSIDE of his pants so everybody could see how tough he is. He'd probably even have an Ace bandage on one of his elbows on the outside of his shirt....just in case the one on his knee wasn't apparent enough for everybody to see! Yeah, watching Cole work cattle reminds me of that book "Spots In Your Ears", by Hu Flung Dung

Man you guys have some nice cows ! If I was closer to you I'd buy a few from you . We raise black angus as well but our main focus is crops . We have already started corn here in Michigan. Dad and I already have ran 45 acres . Our early planted 102 day corn is running 22 percent moisture at 180 to 200 bushels an acre. Our new johndeere s790 is hungry and ready to eat . Em er some nice gates! I have noticed that your cattles are working better and better over time because of your herd management and farm improvements. I loved the way they just flowed through the new gate setup so relaxed and calm. Great job all you Sonne men. Nice to see that. Brian and Cole are good team members, you get the job done and know the steps. Just great. Uncle Jeff fits in great also. Like your new corn head, Macadone is one of the best. Everyone says those sharp knifes work good. Larsons just put them on also. Nice rain you got but do not like the hail-ouch!!!!! So Cole had to cook. T-bone sounds good. Mr Cole. You need to contact one of your old teachers about applying for a grant for your store. You could probably get 250,000 free to buy your store stock since it is for the community and a public interest Try it. I sold a store to a college girl a few years back and she paid me with a government grant check.
