Don't be listening to any of the bell ends as a racing fan you bring to the commentary a mega riders view and listening to you describe what we ain't got a clue about is mega. You will know when its time to retire and no one else grrrrrrr I can't wait to see you back out there.

Lee, like I have told you and messaged you before, you are as many people have said a breath of fresh air in or out of the commentary box. Like Mc Pint, you're a no BS. Call it as you see it, man. Its got to be unsettling going back but don't let the memories mess with your head you. Having come through my own physical and mental battle. Now, facing another battle with cancer, I watch your vlogs, and it gives me the strength to fight . I've followed bike racing since the age of 12 and the TT especially, l am now 71 and intend to get back on my bike as soon as medical conditions allow. So stay strong heal well keep doing what you do best. Earning a living to keep Niel in Mc Donald's breakfast wraps. God bless Ireland.

Fabulous job at the NW200 commentating.. I was there all week and any time you were on air was fantastic… couldn’t believe it when you were off air and we had a woman expert who’s contribution was talking about how often the men went to the toilets before a race. You have a career as a commentator no doubt. But you have so much to give on the track yet.

The whole NW200 coverage was amazing this year. Great fun, great racing and just so easy to watch and listen to. You 3 in the box where the epicentre for sure but well supported by the quiet guy in the pits. Watched it wall to wall on Wednesday and Saturday so thanks to the team. I got Steves Parish's autograph when I was 12 in 1979 in the pits so its really nice to see that he's a bit more fun now lol

@oldgolfpunk
@oldgolfpunk Ай бұрын
It's not a case of quitting. It's a case of looking outside the box. For road racing, there are signs people ignore over all the years I've been in it. While the rider thinks its bad he misses the biggest race. He does not look at it like this minor accident maybe what saves his life from the big one.... It's happend to a seriously high percentage of road racers who had minor offs. But did all to get back to racing.. only for them to pass soon after..

Mate, as long as you have the heart and desire to carry on racing then there's no reason to stop. You're a better rider now than you've ever been (same talent but bags more experience), anyone saying you should stop is simply a troll looking for a reaction. Great job on commentary with Keith & Stavros but looking forward to seeing you back in your natural habitat sooner rather than later! All the best 🙂

Hi Lee. Just landed on your channel. Must say although I follow bike racing and got all the chat about your crash, the clip on your title shots drew my breath away. It answered any questions big time. Saw 'the metalwork' on your vid. Sensible decisions mate even though you miss the TT fitness to ride again seems to be in your head 👍. Take it from me you can only go as fast as the injury heals ironic I know but your attitude is A++ you'll do it. If Hutchie can make it you will too.
