I just love the tail swishing. She can't help it, and you can tell it means she's enjoying the activity. I don't know if we could handle the amount of energy a toller like Sable has, but she's sure fun to watch :D

Yes! Her tail never stops moving when we play with her frisbee. She certainly never runs out of energy..

Enjoying the channel - we have a 9 week-old toller and the biggest problem we're having is him learning to be alone. How long was it before Sable was comfortable in a crate/pen on her own and not barking/crying continuously?

I am so jealous that you have a 9 week old! How I wish Sable were that little again... We did struggle a little bit with that. However, we started in very small areas before graduating to whole house freedom. She did cry/bark at first, but we tried a few different things. I might suggest you get a lick mat, put dog-safe peanut butter on it, and freeze it. Give this to him in his crate when you leave - it serves as a distraction and also tires him out since it's a mental enrichment activity. Obviously monitor the first few times to make sure he doesn't chew the lick mat! We also started with small increments of time, like 10-15 minutes, and worked our way up. We didn't let Sable out unless she was calmed down. Otherwise, you're reinforcing that crying/barking = getting out. Best of luck - it only gets easier!!!
