It was too cute that, When they had to say their name one at a time, I thought they would say it in the order that they were sitting, being that Noël started first; however, James waited for Alice, his older sibling, to go before him, since Noël, who is the eldest, went first. Alice, caught the pause and gracefully said her name. Then James, said his name, last. That is some smart grand children you have 😊 Absolutely adorable 🥰

This may be at a time when I was not consistent in watching your videos. Good video even though there was some rough handling of the camera. I think there should be a priority for the children and secondary horse drive. You (Jim) do a great job, even if there is mumbling to the audio, Thanks

Jim & Brenda My name is Keith and I found your channel maybe 4 days ago, I maybe have watched 6 of your videos, but won't try to count the number of times I have been BLESSED to the point that the JOY OF THE LORD COMES out my eyes. We had welch ponies on the farm during the late 50s, but it was not until the mid 60s, stationed in Great Falls Montana in the AF, had worked on some ranchers locally, worked some 4 an outfitter packing mules about 60 miles south of Glassur Park, with 17 miles from the end of the road to the main camp , was in the head waters of the Middle Fork of the Flathead & working cattle a horse back, somewhere in the midst of all of that, I got to the State Fair their in Great Falls just as they were taking the wheel team of the Budweiser 8 horse hitch into the barn. I followed in & just stood back watching. I don't profess to remember how long later,a small older man who was part of those taking care of the horses, said something to me like, U like these horses ? My answer was, SOMETHING like, I am just realizing how much they are in my blood. He said something like, how's that ? So I told him about what I had been told about 2 great uncles who had taken Perched to the International Livestock Show in Chicago in, I think the mid1930s.He said, what's your last name I told him,he said, were they small men ,I said, yes, he I remember them. Probably, today lot more than that day, many times between then and now , I have & continue to come more aware of & how BLESSED WE R, that our HEAVENLY FATHER sent JESUS, AND HE SENT THE HOLY SPIRIT, AND HE NEVER LEAVE US. THANK U's both 4 doing such a GREAT job of sharing GOD'S LOVE.🤗🤗🤗🙄☝️

@@WorkingHorsesWithJim Thank you so much. I sent the link to my Aunt. She had horses pretty much almost her entire life. Her favorite kind of horse people are your family. Kind to animals and humans. No doubt she'll love your channel. Brenda, my sister is a nurse also so I know how incredibly difficult this year had been for all of you. I wanted to say thank you so much for all you do. Your patients are incredibly lucky to have such a kind empathetic nurse.💕

So precious seeing the bonding with different generations. How I wish this were the norm but I know that families have a different idea what it means to pass down the the traditions. I can’t begin to express how much this has warmed my heart that these littles are so excited to share in Gramma and Grandpas world. I’ve said this before but it bears repeating... your horses are just so beautiful. I love watching them work and I love watching them in their leisure. Thank you for taking the time to share a bit of your life with us!!!:):):)

Jim the video you cut hay by the fence stakes. My way to avoid hitting the stakes is 3/4 up the stake put a piece of wood in a (L) shape upside down to extend the wire out from the stake to mow under the wire.I extended to approx a foot out.

I remember when I was as young also and just loved going to my Grandfathers farm and just doing all those things as well. I learnt to drive the tractor also. My uncle said we’re not allowed to drive a tractor until 12 years old but I got my way and was driving the tractor by 9 years old by myself. It was fun on the farm. Good to see the grandkids have that enthusiasm too.

Thank you for a great show. Grand children are are our heritage to the world. My youngest grand daughter 20 yrs old not interested in farm or animals outside of her twelve year old cat, ask me about a 10yr old show goat that her younger cousin had showed for three years. Sure surprised me Mumble on you’d be surprised who is listening. When my late wife was here she ask me why I’d stopped whistling. I had had so many teeth pulled I couldn’t anymore. And just in the last month my daughter mom to youngest one mentioned said I remember when you whistled all the tome. I never knew that I did it that much. A question about your barn. How big are your tie stalls. At 70 years I’m looking at smaller drafts ,14-15.2 hands, broke back can’t ride any more so looking for alternate way to have. I think I can still throw harness on that size. So I was wondering how to build and what size your stalls are. Also how thick would you recommend for floor boards ,have lots of oak timber. Love to your family God bless you and your wife. And thank you if you see time to read and answer my questions. With love tim
