The best part of this video was Jim sledding with Bill. I got as bif a thrill out of watching that as you did Jim doing it. I laughed and giggled all the way thru it I could feel each turn and felt the snow blow in my face! I'm 81 yrs old and have a sled just like that. and once and a while I get on it and go down the little hill behind my house. The Kid in us never dies. aa it should not. enjoy life when you can and thanks for reliving my inner child for me and letting me come along God Speed. ECf.

Bill looked like he enjoyed the sleigh ride too. He looked majestic in the snow with his strong trot. I tried that once many years ago, the deep snow went up my pant legs. Kinda threw a "damper" on the fun. lol

I did that as a kid with the skidding horses. Hitched them to a 6' toboggan & added 3 tin flying saucers. Wow! the kids on the saucers really had a ride. My Mother would be yelling from the porch, "You kids are gonna get killed doing that!" Oh, what fun it was. Occasionally, we did have wrecks; but, nobody ever got hurt. You brought back a lot of memories. Thanks.

That put a smile on my face. Jim, when you mentioned how it would be nice to have a backrest on the sled & how much fun you had, it got me thinking. How hard would it be for you to design & build a nice 2 or 3 person toboggan sled with sides & a backrest. You could line it with cushions for comfort. Then you could take Brenda & Skippy on a fun adventure around the farm & how much fun do you think the grandkids would have riding with Grandpa at the lead. Just a thought. Keep up the good work. HI JIM & BRENDA......Always chores on the farm to do. I like how you blanket the horses when logging and using the wool covers that horse show people call "Coolers" because it does pull the moisture up thru the wool....they are Wonderful! The snow is really beautiful, but makes chores harder to move around on foot. Skippy just makes it look like fun but I bet he sleeps good at night! Thanks for sharing your adventures and glad Abby & Trudy got moved into the Beautifully restored home Abby's worked so hard on.😅 GOD BLESS 😊❤😊❤

That was fun for me with one down side and one upside! The sights and sound of Jim’s ride were great while I sat by my fireplace.
