Regarding making friends, consider joining clubs, activities, voluntering.

What kind of clubs or activities do you recommend ?

@@RheaxGarde dépends on what you like. If you know to play some music, you can join a band. If you like sports, you may try indoor climbing or hiking or volleyball. I recommend also joining the scouts if you like children. Every year there is a forum des associations organised in many cities where you can select such activities. And you can ask you colleagues some help if you know what you would like to do.

Ha I go to office around 10 - 10.30 and have 2 hours lunch break and leave at 5 as an intern ;)
