WORKING IN POLAND... What my first week looked like // Vlog

What my first week looked like... minus any talk about actuallll work. :D I was really happy to get an office job/speaking Polish in my interview and ultimately, using it for my new job.
It didn't last long, but my first week in April was also IN OFFICE/PERSON.
That was really cool. Got out and about more. Explored the "Powisle"/Wisla river area on my lunch breaks.
As you can see I was pretty happy about it! :)

W Polsce wyplaty rowniez sa spoko, ale dla ludzi wysokim IQ - a takicj na calym swiecie jeest jednak mniejszosc. Sorry, takie zycie ;) Zreszta sprobuj kupic w Wiedniu lub w Madrycie mieszkanie, a zrozumiesz, ze PL jest spoko. Bez odbioru.

Hi Siddesh! Unfortunately, I can’t tell you. The tuition fees will depend on where you choose to study/your program of choice. In Poland there are public universities (which are free) and private universities (which charge varying fees-its not that all electrical engineering programs cost the same). I’d guess anywhere from 2,000-7,000 USD/year at private universities, but this is something you need to confirm with whichever school you look into! Best,

Kiedys tam wyjechali 😂…byli w polsce zeby brac slub (zanim mnie bylo), i wrocili na kilka togdni kiedy ja sie urodzilam -(w warszawie) a potem wyjechali I mieszkalismy gdzie indzie cale zycie. Zeby odpowiedziec na stan mojego polskiego xD…jest dluzsza historia uczenia sie, ale mam mame z polski (drugi rodzic jest z Stanow), to dlatego slabo ale znam! nawet ze nigdy niemielismy potrzeby na polskiego w domu/w szkole/z znajomymi etc. babcia tutaj nie mowi po angielski - to troche trzwiczenie bylo potrzebne znia zawsze :)

@@PlexiGlasss 1.Czyli można powiedzieć, że generalnie jesteś i Polką (domyślam się, że masz normalnie polskie obywatelstwo, dowód osobisty, itd.) i Amerykanką. :) A historia twojej rodziny, na pewno jest jeszcze dłuższa i bardzo ciekawa. 💪 Nawet zasługująca na oddzielny filmik na YT (o ile chciałabyś opowiedzieć). 2. Pewnie kojarzysz Kasię Mecinski z kanału ,,Fifty na Poł". Ona wychowywała się w polskiej rodzinie w Chicago, chodziła w weekend do polskiej szkoły. Jak zaczynała nagrywać na YT, to jej polski był poprawny (pozostający jeszcze sporo do życzenia), ale wkradało się w jej wypowiedziach mnóstwo angielskich słówek (powstałz tego klasyczny ,,ponglish"). A jak się przyjrzysz teraz, to z perspektywy czasu praktycznie widać niesamowity postęp, jaki dokonała. Ale też miał na to wpływ nierzadkie przyjazdy do Polski, aż w końcu zamieszkanie tutaj. Zatem myślę, że potrzeba częstej praktyki: w postaci konwersacji z innymi osobami, pisania po polsku; a to doprowadzi, że na pewno za rok będzie duży postęp, a co dopiero za 3 czy 5 lat. Z tego powodu życzę, żebyś stale poprawiała umiejętności polskiego, abyś mogła za jakiś czas powiedzieć, że w mowie i piśmie jesteś perfekcyjnie dwujęzyczna. Takie C2 z obu języków. 😉👊 Co tak naprawdę wiele osób chciałoby osiągnąć. Wielkie powodzenia w rozwoju językowym, w pracy i w życiu osobistym, żebyś mogła cieszyć się i mieszkać na stałe w Polsce, nie myśląc o wyjeździe do innego kraju! 😉👊
