It didn't feel right to charge him for a birthday present he never had a chance to ride. Also the bike was to small and an absolute wreck.

Very cool. Wouldn't be ironic if the store across the street is where it sold from all those years ago.

After 29 years I am still learning things. New bikes are always evolving. Electronic shifting, hydraulic brakes, suspension and lots of other things. It never gets old.

You're the man! That was very kind of you to fix up that bike. You did a lot to get it right a ball again and you did it pro bono. Whoever does your intros and the special effects should get five stars. I am very entertained by not only the videos but to see what they did new at the intro of the video. Outstanding graphics. You need to tell your brother to get one of those Wireless microphones that you use it works great!

Thank you. My brother just got one of those wireless microphones.

I have about 60 bikes, mostly old ballooners from the 30s and 40s. I always wonder the story on why they parked it and nobody ever rode them again until they ran into me. I can turn old rusty piles of junk into very nice riders, I can even recover the saddles with way gooder padding and curbside couch leather for the worn look. I would definitely do this for an elderly person in my area for free, even if it's not a super cool or rare one.

Couldn’t that front fork be straightened in a press? Seams like a easy job

With a specific jig you can but that not many places have anything like that.👍

this video was a long time coming. i had hope you might of giving it a quick paint job. any way steve aka the phantom lol was happy so see you next time. stay well

If the bike was bigger I might have painted it. But Steve told me his plans for the bike and that it involved him riding it for the first time and then to put it into the basement. I already had about $300 in time and parts. I also didn't want to put more work into the bike if he wasn't going to do anything more with it. I did want to do more with it. Thanks.👍
