What a privilege to be able to go and stay with another family and a beautiful country like Ireland! I did catch her joke about milking the steers ha ha. Nice. Really happy you got to experience Ireland. My wife and I have been very fortunate to travel to Ireland for the past 6 years. Going back again this September. We have fallen in love with our ancestral home. Not tours for us. We stay in B&B's meeting families and learning so much more. Have learned to drive on the other side of the road and had some funny experiences with that. This past year we spent on the west coast (the wild Atlantic Way) from Shannon to Donegal and didn't want to leave. This year were back to Dingle for some beautiful scenery and great food, and our favorite B&B in all of Ireland. Do yourself a favor and return as often as you can. We look at these trips as recharging a peaceful part of us. Thanks for sharing. I wanted to get on the plane today.

In the old days, there was a large stone that sat at the edge of entrances and walls. It works surprisingly well against cars just as well as it used to do against horse driven carriages. :)

Wow, what an awesome video! Your storytelling and video editing skills have come so far, it's so cool to see you developing a personal style with your videos and getting so good at telling the story of what you're doing. Keep up the amazing work! You have a hugely under-recognized channel. I know it's corny sometimes, but I would seriously consider doing some of the things other KZbinrs do with calls out for Likes and Subscriptions. I found you first from the Frank Howarth video almost a year ago because KZbin prompted me with it. You need KZbin to tell more people about your excellent videos :)
