My 11-year old grandson just discovered the joy of making/eating dill refrigerator pickles. He'd go nuts over these baskets of pickling cucumbers! I think we're getting a few pickling cucumbers in our CSA boxes this week. His comment: "Grammy, we need to make more than one jar. They don't last long enough!"

Andrew, maybe during the offseason, when you have more time, you could make a blooper video. I rewatched your mud puddle fall 3 times, and that's after watching it about 10 times in its original video! It would be at the top of the list. A few other things you could include would be Brian dumping the barrel of grain, when he hit you in the head with the tomato, some of the corny jokes he and the rest of you guys are constantly cracking and things like that. Maybe you could even borrow a clip from Joel about when he got the tractor stuck lol! Thanks.

Cucumbers sure like to hide in them vines. I so well remember as a young girl picking tons of cucumbers by machine in Ontario Canada. Filling contracts for the farmers we worked for. Backbreaking work And as for being too rough on the plants, the farmers we worked for always told us you can’t hurt them, in fact it’s actually good for them to give them a good beaten’ once in a while when you’re picking through them

I love your explanation of the handling of the plants and produce. I thought when I first started watching you all that you must damage some plants/fruits but after a few videos it was quite obvious you all know what your doing!!! You actually helped me be more brave in diving into my plants to find everything I can. I waste less cucumbers and beans and tomatoes because before I was reluctant to disturb the plants. I realized if the pros can flip the vines over, I’d give it a try😉 I’ve been gardening for decades and it’s helping me increase my yields because I’m getting less overripe crops. Thanks for the courage boost

Good morning Andrew and all the family, what a blessing to receive all that rain, a bit inconvenience but work can still get done. It is nice to be organised and do inside whilst the rain it doing it's job outside. Love to see the harvesting of all the veggies after the rain, they seem to be a be more crisp as well. So wish for some of the zucchini squash especially the yellow variety. Enjoy eating and thinking of me. Everything is important on the farm from sowing to labelling. Kelly really looks like a freshly picked rose. She seems to be a quiet child, so beautiful. Thank you for sharing your daily life with us, watch out for puddles. Do take care, kind regards.
