Working Redstone Analog Clock Tutorial | Minecraft Java 1.20+

Sorry for the goofy thumbnail, Jace sent it to me and it was too funny not to use :D I forgot to mention about the slime/honey blocks and how they interact with blocks if you enclose the redstone. Since they default to the "extended" position it's actually fine to attach other blocks to them for the wall! The piston only retracts and then immediately extends again so the wall 99% of the time will be flush :P ALSO I completely forgot to talk about the 4 faced design! It's easily possible to make one, and I had them for the previous versions 3 years ago. If people don't hate this video too much I can release another video with that in I suppose, but it should be easy enough to figure out yourselves!

I’ve been looking for a good design of an analog clock for modern versions, even tried to build one myself (which was very unsuccessful to say the least) for my piston house project inspired by those that were built way back in the day (10 or so years ago). @@Joshimuz Sidenote, this morning I experienced a glitch where the redstone block pushed out a stone one on the bottom row to the right, and the redstone block was grabbed by the sticky piston and used as the pusher. The stone block was pushed over to the right and the clock face turned off indicating the missing redstone block. I wonder what kind of double cycling of which part of the cycle, if not all of it is happening to cause that mismatch.

iirc, there's a way to reliably get the time that doesn't depend on if it's raining or if the server lags. Unfortunately, it has been so many years since I've done any redstone in Minecraft that I unfortunately cannot recall how to do so.
