Dusty yoou and marissa are like my husband and i. We was married 44 years last month. We make a really good team and are used to working together to getting a job done. Were 71 and 83 and have worked many jobs together. Last before retirement was school custodians at the same school. We just seem to know what the other needs us to do to help. We have a small acreage still but only a couple horses and cows now. He had cows before my time but i am more the farm gal. When our kids were growning up them and i worked as a smooth team. I trained horses and they was a big help. By 10 my son was breaking ponies big and small. Both showed livestock. Now grown with almost grown kids they still work like a team with me.

I understand that you put the solid panels on the tub to keep them calmer and focused on the path. Consider putting a breathable, fully opaque canvas over the crash gate. So that they can clearly see that it's a solid barrier and not slide into the gate and possibly getting their feet stuck again. 💖🌞🌵😷

I remember one time we were working cattle, I was in charge of the headgate (it was not as nice as y'all's) my husband ran 2 calves down the alley way, both hit the headgate as the same time. He couldn't believe that i caught both of them at the same time. Watching you two working together brings back wonderful memories. ❤❤

There is a program called Flock Watch for sheep that keeps track of all the information you are writing down including the parents of the animal. I'm sure there is a program for cattle that you could use. You would have to give them different ear tags.
