Yup. Old bitter lady barks at me to make sure I "make the bags of groceries light, last time they were TOO HEAVY!" Like that's my fault and deserving of her attitude. So I make her grocery bags as light as I can, splitting up 2 bags worth into 5 bags. She grabs a bag to test the weight and instantly resumes barking at me about how they're too heavy and I didnt listen blah blah blah typical ageism bullshit. I had to respond "ma'am, theres only 1 item in there, it's a bag of flower". Did she apologize? Of course not. She scowled and grumbled something I couldn't understand.

My favorite is: You work at a butcher, and its 3minutes before closing. And someone comes just befire the closing and orders half a pound rosebeef, while you just cleaned the machines.... * Hand clap to the face *

Felix Ruys And (me) the customer is wondering why your lazy ass is angry at doing your job. Me thinking to myself: "Do you want my fucking money or not cuz I could just find a new store to go to"
@9nikola6 жыл бұрын
Well, you wouldn't like cleaning everything once more when there's only 1 minute of work left either, would you? Unless you really really like your job and really really hate your life outside of it.
@blakebarbee72246 жыл бұрын
personwehate 1 although they are obligated to do that they shouldn't have to do it one minute til closing. Ofc it is your fault for arriving last minute to do anything. If I were the owner or employee I would close on you.

I once worked at Dairy Queen in highschool. I had a customer come through the drive thru once and she was trying to order a milkshake with no milk. I thought it was someone obviously fucking with me, but they were dead serious. I explained to them that a milkshake with no milk is just a cup of ice cream lol, and they seriously weren't getting it. I had to get my manager to deal with them because they were just so ridiculous.

And this, my friends, is why you don’t act like a bellend to people working in retail. Be polite, clear, and succinct with your order, don’t give a life story, just order your cuts, be thankful, and move on.

The deli I worked at had a policy called "say yes to the guest". We weren't supposed to say no to a customer under any circumstance.
@PSIGOD5 жыл бұрын
@@blewrezzin3677 that's pretty funny because we would have people ask for some dumbass shit when they didn't know what they were talking about. Example, I had a few ask if the chicken could fry for an extra like 15 minutes which at that point it would be black

What makes this funny is I stop by the deli counter once a week and I've been behind these people waiting my turn and all the while wondering what is wrong with them and how they function in society without some one beating them to death. The only thing else you could have added would be the people who want 4 slices of each thing and want like a dozen different things.
