I would SO love to be part of this team! I already feel like you're my homies. Schmidt's (great eyebrows!) sandbox analogy is da bomb. And the wording one the non auto-layout box cracks me up. Thanks guys!

I'm on team period.

I'm in camp "no periods" for snackbar/toast messages. They should be short and never more than one sentence so punctuation isn't needed. Similar to checkbox and radio button labels.

Hey Chris and team. Thanks so much for sharing this. I love it. Especially the part about "playing in each other's sandboxes". I do this a lot. I find product designers are initially quite surprised but then become very supportive and collaborative. I recently watched "UX writers need design systems too!" and I'm obsessing about building a content design system within Figma. Do you know if there are any templates or guides to help me get started with this? I feel like this is a great gap to fill for the Figma team. Thanks! kzbin.info/www/bejne/eXeqmYOZZbh-idk

I disagree with a lot of this stuff. This all assumes that the writer knows Figma well enough to not break things. I would NOT give the writer editing permissions. They can write in the comments and post those comments wherever they want. The advice here is for very limited scenarios and org structures

Thanks so much for the feedback, David! There are definitely companies that don't allow content designers/UX writers to edit Figma files, and you make a good point that deep collaboration can only happen if writers feel comfortable working in the mocks. In our experience, that comfort comes quickly and the benefits are worth it!
