There is SO much conflicting parenting advice out there by "experts." What one expert tells you to do, another tells you to definitely NOT do that same thing. If you are anything like me, helping your children to learn good behavior and bad behavior has been confusing, frustrating, and tantrum-inducing (and I'm not talking about the kids). Once the pandemic hit and we were stuck together 24/7 with nowhere to go, the behaviors became very obvious and I no longer had the patience to try to let natural consequences take over or figure out a reward or consequence or the right thing to say for every incidence that occurred. So, I came up with our own behavior system that has been working super well for us for months!
