App is awesome, keep up the good work!

@strengthlog - but why does it cost an arm and leg (pardon the pun)? Make it affordable so your premium uptake grows.

What kind words? He doesn't like your app cuz your is too expensive. Hevy ftw

This may be the first time I watched one single review video and stopped because it was thorough enough. Thank you.

I think another feature that I doubt any of these offer, is exporting your data. I am not sure what format that should be, maybe XML or CSV. Honestly, the most important feature for me, is being able to access everything on a website. I want to type with an actual keyboard, at least for planning. I basically gave up on so many apps because I was tired of entering it on my phone. I also agree on price, mainly because you do not know if these apps will suddenly not work on the next release of your phone. So many apps get abandoned.

Love your detailed review and comparison man! Can you try out Evolve AI vs juggernaut ai for regular body building program/ hypertrophy, strength and cardio and tell us what you think about the layout/ ui, stats, pros and cons with every app.. free vs paid mode etc? Would really appreciate 🙏👍

solid advice - thanks for taking the time and reviewing! Looked through JuggernautAI, Strong, Hevy, Alpha Progression and Stronglifts and by far Liftosaur is the best (otherwise would be tough choice if StrenghtLog was cheaper...)! I love the automatic progression calculator so I don't have to think about adjusting the weights myself and that is opensource :)

Great review! I probably watched this video 4 times as I checked out the various apps and subscribed so I don't miss your update! I really appreciate your priorities - really similar to mine - preset workouts don't work for me and it's easier for me to design my program from scratch than to find one that's close enough to tweak, and the price needs to be low enough to justify not making my own notes. I don't care as much about the metrics, but I like to see prior workout details. And you didn't seem to prioritize their watch app. The ability to handle the wkt via my watch is important. I wanted to like liftosaur, but the simple settings were too simple - can't figure out how to set up dropsets and supersets, and the programming settings were too techy. I decided I'm going to use the free version of strengthlog, and if they make the free version less generous and do not add a lifetime subscription for $100 or less, I'll recompare strong and hevy, and probably switch to hevy and pay its $75 lifetime fee. My only gripes with strengthlog is that when designing a new workout with the same exercises, it will not automatically show you your last weight - you have to select the history. Also, I like to do my warmup sets for different exercises as supersets, and then to my working sets separately (as drop sets). Strengthlog works well once it is all set up, but seems to glitch when you have one exercise showing up twice in a wkt and you want to change the order of one of them. My gripe with hevy is that unlike strengthlog, you can't see your exercise notes on your watch and that is important to me. Looking fwd to your next app review!!!

"And you didn't seem to prioritize their watch app." Whose watch app are you talking about? What type of watch are you using?

Hey does anyone know if an app can switch between exercises for e g on a leg day I switch between zercher squat and normal squat. I would like to switch between the squats for the leg day
@RaymePastore4 ай бұрын
Most of them will do this. For example on Hevy you can just do them in any order or set them up via a superset. You can also swap out exercises during workout if needed.
