Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater at 60

In honor of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater’s 60th anniversary, artistic director Robert Battle, artistic director emerita Judith Jamison, and choreographer Rennie Harris joined in a conversation moderated by author Susan Fales-Hill that spotlighted what truly makes the company so special. Alvin Ailey dancers performed highlights from signature classics and commissioned works, pushing dance into new territory leading up to the company’s New York City Center season.
