Having a running Panzer I Ausf. B is almost as rare as a running Tiger! Aus Armour is such an amazing collection of people hell bent on restoring vehicles with true Aussie ingenuity instead of being hung up by not having the exact period correct nuts and bolts... Don't get me wrong because I love all those "matching numbers" exhibits out there, but these things are rarer than hens teeth and it's always better to display history than keeping the rusty mangled parts in a box waiting for the missing parts that don't exists?! The only sad thing is that you're so far from me... But if by chance a miracle does happen so I can travel once in my life to Australia like I've always dreamt of, you're the first place I'm visiting!!! Huge thanks for restoring and saving all this history for the next generations before it's too late. Greetings from Sweden

I'm actually a bit stunned by the sight of a Pz 1 Ausf B running around in Australia of all places! Even after all these years you blokes never ceasev to amaze me with the miracles you do in restoring these vehicles., And I actually saw the engine deck of this particular vehicle sitting on a pallet in the workshop on my first ever visit there back in 2018. I recognised it for what it was never thinking it would ever be part of an actual running Panzer 1, and now here it is which is just so very appropriate and just simply fantastic! Absolutely brilliant work guys 👏

As someone interested in afv from ww2 for building models, I had been a little dismissive of the Panzer 1 and 2, Grants/Lees until watching your restoration work. I will be getting models of the Panzer 1 and 2, as I already have of the Lee and Grant. Your videos are a great help to modellers and the work of restoring these vehicles is historically important. Keep up the good work.

So nice to see a mark 1 panser. I don't believe the Bovington tank museum has one, but when l last visited two years ago they had not. Glad you have one in your collection, it could not be any further from it's original location of Germany now. Considering how many were made originally not many survived ww2.

What a fabulous job! Looks like it just rolled off the production line! Well done! A considerable number of these vehicles were destroyed with crew fatalities in Poland! It should really have remained a training vehicle only, but the Panzer Corps needed them to make up the numbers! Imagine having to drive through an artillery barrage or a hail of anti-armour rifle bullets never mind an anti armour shell, with only the thin Panzer I armour for protection!
