Working on the track was fascinating to me. I spent over a decade working with the M1/M1A1 Abrams track .. and whatever version was really, really heavy which means watching this "cute" track being manhandled made me smile in appreciation.

Workshop Wednesday, the ultimate drug, & I am completely hooked! I always want more! My career in the Australian Army was always attached to Armoured Corps, & I loved my job... So, now, I live my life vicariously through the Australian Armour & Artillery Museum KZbin channel, & their fantastically talented & dedicated staff. Jealous? Not much! Were I younger, I would camp on their doorstep, until they got so sick of me, I would be accepted as a volunteer, to add my skills to the pool of talented tradies who work at the best job I could imagine... Anyway, enough of my daydreaming, & thanks to the Australian Armour & Artillery Museum for feeding this wonderful addiction!!😂

Hey Kurt! Loved the camera angle you put in at 19:26. Really goes to show the interesting and unique viewpoint that many of us will never get to see. It also speaks volumes about the time, effort, and dedication that you go to showcase the talents of these remarkable men doing such wonderful preservation work. It also brings to life what the actual armoured crewmen of these tanks, would've gone through in the everyday drudgery of maintenance and repair back in WW2. Keep up the absolutely brilliant work! Cheers from Canada!

My colleague visited your museum last week (we are in Perth on the other side of the country, but he was visiting Cairns). He knew I watched these videos and I really want to see the museum in person. He bought me one of those water bottles that look like a tank shell from your souvenir store. It's awesome! I've been taking it to the gym and getting a few weird looks. He snapped a photo of Jason working at the front desk too (he took the photo because the desk is shaped like a tank).

Nope. Actually there's 97 track links per side! - If my 1/16 scale model panzer IB is correct! I just finished the tracks the other day! 776 parts in the 2 sides in fact! It took me nearly 2 weeks to make them up with metal pins, but now they're finished they work beautifully! Working on return rollers & a paint mask for them too! Nearly forgot! I made up a paint mask for the 10 road wheels, but luckily there's plenty of room for 8 return rollers too! I'll probly sell the mask for $25 or $30 on flea bay to the next builder when I'm done with it! Great video fellas! Thank You!
