Ron @ 2"50 ..."This is a piece of junk...." Ha! Love this guy! One thing I love on these videos is the cool Aussie Accent. My Dad served in the army air corps in WW -2 landing in Brisbane (in late 1943?). He would bring out his version of the "Aussie accent" at times for fun. I miss him and these guys always remind me of him.

Incredible how Ron just picks up a rustified, crappy & dirty bit of bent or busted tank, & knows just what it is! 13 Grant tank builds? This guy is probly the most experienced Grant builder in the world! - Well, in Straya anyway! I'll grant him that! Hehehe! Made short work of cuttin off the Aussie mods! That front bit of additional armour between the 2 final drives looks like a nifty & useful mod! - Better not throw THAT away huh? Hey Ron! - Or to anyone else that may know - That anti-grenade mesh - did they put that on only in the field, & only on Grants? It looks like such a cool mod I'd like to scratchbuild that same mesh onto my M3. I'm building an Aussie Lee tank - "Bushape". "Shut that bloody side entry door! Shut the dang door!" I yelled at the screen as the tank got flipped! Geez! I hope that door didn't get damaged! Great video!

At the USMC Air Ground Museum we flipped and SU-76 on her side to sandblast the bottom of the hull. We had to use an old RT forklift and it was quit a job. I don't know how many hours I spent sandblasting the vehicle, inside and out, small parts to huge, but it was a bunch. I can't describe the satisfaction when the final coats of paint went on and I envy you all for the challenges and hard work ahead. If I lived "down under" rest assured I would be reporting for duty to share in the fun.

Brilliant, Thanks from the Home Country.
