Al’s a wizard… watching him mark-out and cut that top plate shows a skill acquired when metalwork was an artform, not a computer. Great work!

It’s a true privilege to watch Al working out the problems and solutions, and then fabricate the pieces. He really should have an apprentice to pass on these skills to before they are lost to time. Keep up the great work Al

As a professional with over 40 years in MY trade it is a joy to watch a true craft man at work, the attention to detail, the ability to overcome issues, the experience to know how the materials will perform ....all examples of a master at work.

Amazing Al👍 Easiest day of he week to get my 9 year old daughter to bed. Tell her it’s “workshop Wednesday” and she’s straight to bed to watch it with me. 🤣 Only thing she doesn’t like is the lack of workshop Monday Tuesday Thursday Friday…

Watching these videos is my Wednesday morning ritual here in the U.S.. Kurt the craftsmanship you show in putting the videos together is fantastic. You really show the personality and skill of everyone in the shop. The shots and editing are wonderful. I actually get sad when the music plays because I know the video is about to end. I could watch them for hours. So, I raise my morning cup of coffee to you, and everyone at the shop.

Pity such an historic piece was left to rot to such a state, but it is now in the hands of a master and in a place that will treat it with the respect it and honour it and those heroes deserve. Kudos to the Rodney who saved it from the scrapers.

Le Hamel was a significant battle that is sadly too often overlooked here in Australia and elsewhere. General Monash calculated the allied forces under his command would accomplish their objectives in 90 minutes. They did it in 93. The care, skill, and precision show here is truly and wonderfully apt.
