The ac cord adapter is awesome. Every tool brand should have them

I love Milwaukee, DeWalt and Makita but I started increasing my Metabo line. The Metabo 1 9/16” Rotary Hammer and 36V Recip saw are beasts and the adapter is such a great concept. I was looking at the Milwaukee and DeWalt belt sanders as my next purchase but this Metabo changes everything for me. Thank you for the great reviews 🙏🏼

Another solid HPT tool. Not sure why Milwaukee and Dewalt's cordless belt sanders are almost twice as expensive--especially when they don't have the corded option. I like and use the Red and Yellow tools (have more Yellow), but Green has been my go-to for new 18/36 volt tools for years now: top-notch performance, fair pricing, real durability, lifetime warranty.

Perhaps comfortable enough with their loyal user base and tend to be more widely available/accessible to the general public than Metabo-HPT? Its easier here in the Montreal area (Canada) to pick up DeWalt and Milwaukee than Metabo HPT. That said, I am mostly a DeWalt guy but just picked up the Metabo-HPT sander with a 4Ah/8ah multi volt battery and charger for CDN $70 less than the DeWalt bare tool. My Yellow won't be supplanted by HPT but they might take shelf space normally reserved for future DeWalt equivalents. I'm a fan of battery/AC options which DeWalt abandoned but HPT has embrace so Green has my attention.

@@jpslattery7344 I'm a converted Dewalt guy, and get the availability point: yellow and red tools are everywhere. I still buy Dewalt stuff when it's a smoking deal--I like the tools and there is a wider selection--but look to HPT first at 18/36v. I've often been tempted by Flexvolt, but the Multivolt system works very well for me.

After having tested both the Metabo-HPT and the DeWalt, does one stand out more to you than the other - AC adapter aside? Personal preference?
@WorkshopAddict6 ай бұрын
No, one does not stand out. If someone said they were made by the same company, I would not be surprised.

As baterias do Metabo aquelas com tecnologia CAS são as mesmas que essas? E são compatíveis nas ferramentas htp?
@fancraft126610 ай бұрын
Metabo with the dark green tools and Metabo HPT are not the same companies at all. Metabo HPT was called before Hitachi but the company changed the name to Metabo HPT in north America and HiKoki in the other continents (I know this is pretty confusing 😂), HPT is actually for "Hitachi Power Tools".So their batteries are not the same.

I can't keep the sandpaper from continuing to slide left and right. I finally manage to get it lined up, run it a few seconds to make sure it stays in the middle, start using it, then BOOM....we're sliding in or out AGAIN. Irritating as p@ss
