Why not just by an inverter and a battery back for about 1k and it will be 20 times the run capacity

He says if there's a downside... And then lists off THREE downsides back to back to back.

The down side is they keep making these power stations less capable than a 20a wall outlet. Making it useless for anyone that knows they sometimes blow a breaker. 1 of those batteries can power a 12” mitre saw. 2 can power a mitre saw and dust collector. Which is the max a 20a wall out,et can provide. But 4 of these batteries combined in a contraption that costs a ton on its own, can not power a mitresaw and dust collector reliably..

Seems like a huge flaw. Who is even using this that has 4 charged batteries to swap at a time. You should be able to use the thing with 1 battery if needed and it just ramps down output depending on how many batteries and their amount of charge
@rondickinson19073 ай бұрын
Not a good design. Maybe they should have designed it for 3 batteries with the 4th as a hot swappable spare.

If their is a downside, it’s the astronomical price

I love milwaukee tools but hate the batteries. I have a lot of them and they have been lasting about a year and then they die off or will only hold a partial charge or they just won’t charge or will be dead but show charged. Very disappointed in the quality of the batters especially for how expensive they are. Would be great is Milwaukee would do some kind of a program to get this figured out for customers. I’m pretty assure it’s one of the cells going bad or something with the circuitry in the battery. Guess I don’t know for sure I just not the batteries are pretty disappointing

I've yet to have that issue and have probably 30 batteries.

From a marketing standpoint it's genius because you HAVE TO HAVE 4 BATTERIES ans they HAVE to be the 12amp lol 😆

Ac to dc back to ac. Super inefficient. I can see where these kind of units have their place, but lord help you if you plug a battery charger into this contraption.
