i built one back in 1991 . mine was a honda 25or trike that i built a 72 h2 750 triple and shoehorned in its frame . extended the swing arm 18 inches and put skat trac v paddles on it for hill climbs . i put hoosiers on the back and street drag race it . i raced it for 8 years and won tons of money with it . kids came along and had to sell it . a group of friends went to the hill climbs last month and my beast was there still winning !

The definition of "Industrial Duty" is: "Workshop From Scratch". This is the channel to watch for learning the correct way to do the job. This chassis could easily handle 350cc, 450cc or even more. I'll give you a perfect 100% score! When watching someone this good at what he does it is important to take note of the things he does not fabricate from scratch. The lathe work to fabricate the gas cap, for example, exceeded his time value, his time is worth $$$, better to just buy one and bolt it on his beautiful tank. A quick mod to a generic brake pedal was much easier than building one from scratch. Well done! P.S. Head tube design and fabrication puts you miles above the rest!

As goofy as it may sound, your sliding around in circles, reminds me of how I would ride in the Summers rain, on a bicycle I made frome a 27 inch English Racer and a 20 inch knobby tire, off the back of a Mattel Varoom bike ! I would ride as fast as I could, then hit the coaster brake, and while balancing on one leg, turn the handlebars, and spin in circles on the asphalt road ! The profile from your Trike, was much the same as my bicycle ! Boy did I get the look's ! Lol ! Hey.... what can I say ? Poor people have poor ways ! That was some 56 year's ago ! Thanks for the memories ! And congrats on a beautiful scooter ! ✌️😉

Great traction from those wide mower wheels , and a differential for tight turns . Sure wish mine was as good as yours .

That positioning of the brake caliper will make it difficult to bleed. You could stick it on the opposite side closer to the engine or you could also crack the banjo bolt to bleed it. It’s not how it’s supposed to be done but bleeding it out the banjo bolt will be easier.

Nice job, really enjoy your videos. One thing i cant seem to understand, why u grind off half of your weld after welding, isnt the structural integrity more important than the visual, or maybe gaping 1 mm each side for the weld to lay more flat?
@Nishandh_Mayiladan2 жыл бұрын
Do the extra weld add to strength ? Just curious, noob question looking for inputs.
@magnum3572252 жыл бұрын
@@Nishandh_Mayiladan well not adding a gap in between the pieces means u are mostly adding the extra material (weld) on top of the pieces and depending of your amperage also depends how deep u penetrate the material, now grinding down most of your weld will reduce the coverage of your connection and in that strenght. Thats why when ever you do pipe welding you have to make a gap and do first a root weld and then as many passes as nesserary.

great job, my only concern is that your axle support bearings are too far away from the wheels, you may find you will bend the axle should you land hard or even potholes could bend the axle between the bearings and the road wheel. other than that, it looks like a nice tidy job and lots of fun.
@BANSHEEBOY_1974 Жыл бұрын
