Hi Chris, for 189 visa does the immigration department consider 1 English PTE test for getting the required score or can it consider 2 PTE tests for claiming points in the EOI. I mean, if I get the required score in the first PTE English test but in 3 modules only and in the 2nd test I get the required score in the remay 4th module. Will they consider both my English tests. Or will they consider just 1 test instead of 2 English tests???

When do you estimate the first 189 visa draw in 2023. It's now 3 months since Dec 2022
@WorkVisaLawyers Жыл бұрын
subclass 189 visa is about 20 months for 75% of all the visa applications, and 24 months for 90% of all the visa applications.

Can you please confirm if points can be claimed for ABN paid work experience obtained by doing JRP in trades such as painting, carpentry etc. thanks
@WorkVisaLawyers Жыл бұрын
Claiming points for work experience is very case-specific. There may be certain situations where ABN experience used for JRE can be counted towards points, however, the experience would need to be at the skill level of the nominated occupation.

I’m a student at Swinburne University doing Masters of Media Communication (1st semester). I got two questions; 1) Which course should I choose for the TR ad Media Communication doesn’t fall on the list? 2) Can I apply for a 189 visas now? I’ve done bachelors in Media Communication and worked for more than 5 years with designations ie: Bank Teller, sales representative and Business development executive. Please advise. Thanks

What do you mean by ""NO Work Experience Required" But "POSITIVE SkILL ASSESSMENT is REQUIRED" ? Both those points seem contradictory .
@workvisalawyersmedia189 Жыл бұрын
Depending on the skills assessment authority. You might need to get a positive skill assessment. For example, Vetassess skill occupation still need to have experience. On the other hand, there is no mandatory experience for engineer (Engineers Australia) occupation or accountant (IPA) for the points, but you get more points more experience. But there is no minumum amount of experience set in the points yet. If this all sounds complicated. Yes, it is. I hope this help!
