That looked painfully difficult to explain David and absolute top marks for giving it a damned good go. I think I followed it and am looking forward to part two. I would imagine this is the birth of hat making to keep sun out of workers eyes and it probably has equivalents in straw and other materials. The palm version looks awesome. These are great to protect you from the sun. Just wait until they have turned braun and they work well. When they are green they still heat up a bit. Good question!
