World Affairs TODAY Season 13 Episode 1: Ambassador of Qatar

On June 5, 2017, The World Affairs Council-Washington, DC hosted an Ambassaor Series event featuring His Excellency Sheikh Meshal bin Hamad M.J. Al Thani, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the United States. He addresses the diplomatic crisis that Qatar is experiencing when Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt, and the United Arab Emirates cut off diplomatic ties with Qatar. Eventually releasing a list of demands, the diplomatic row has left the Gulf Cooperation Council in crisis.
