I need to compliment the pianist! I have rarely heard such a fantastic line up of songs in a ballet class. Such tasteful choices! Like "Ich bin von Kopf bis Fuss" of the lovely Marlene.

Honestly being able to watch the company take class is almost better than watching them on stage There is SO MUCH TALENT here. so many strong dancers and when they take class we get to watch individuals and see everyones unique talents and strengths. thank you so much for participating in world ballet day. I have never gotten to view your company before but best believe you have a new fan.

I almost could not take my eyes off from her. She is so gorgeous and executed the chirography effortlessly, like a moving art piece. Breathtakingly beautiful. Love this so much! It is such a difficult movement to perform with a partner. The gentlemen also did an excellent job to support his partner.

I've watched four World Ballet Day classes with different companies, and so far I consider this pianist is the best for variety of music, and especially its suitability for barre and centre. The tempo is always clear and the music is inspirational. Thank you Mr Simon Murray 👏✨🎶

The young man in black, centre front of screen, at 41:00 is someone to watch, I think. Nice port de tête, great port de bras, huge flexibility, perfect proportions, accurate work at the barre with correct épaulement, a good turner and lovely musicality. What's his name? EDIT. I have now looked at the company website. My ballet eye has not deceived me: this dancer is Antonio Casalinho, First Prize Prix de Lausanne 2021 and he is a Soloist with the company. It's worth looking at the website: another dancer who caught my eye turns out to be Yonah Acosta, Principal.

Yep, I noticed that; it’s like in a Balanchine focused company (and school). I think the difference shows in a positive way in the pointework of the ladies in the company. Maybe it’s a policy that Zelensky brought back with him from NYCB?
