I watched both video's. Both build's look awesome! And the use of LED filament is excellent! I understood form Gameyy's video the challenge was to use a minimum of 75% percent of the sent greblees? Which he followed very well. I don't see that same achievement in ScaleModelGeek's build. Nevertheless an awesome collab!

This looks soo cool! Such a nice build in a collaboration Btw I have a huuge technical question for everyone building dioramas. HOW DO YOU STORE THEM? Do you have some kind of clear plastic boxes for them? Do you put them on shelfs? Do you even keep em in your house? How do you protect them from dust? I make dioramas very rarely, but when i do, the number 1 problem is DUST growing on them while they're at display. And it is hard to keep an eye and always brush it off

I always love me some scratchbuilding. The excavator/extractor is completely believable. Not using the cab was a great move, droids don’t care about weather. I wonder who programmed the droids like that. Here in the US we have the same pattern, one guy does all the work while everyone else leans on their tools and the supervisor micromanages the one actual worker. Also completely believable with no explanation necessary. This diorama sort of tells multiple stories, or maybe several threads of one story. Nothing really grand and showy about it, just a moment in the gritty “life” of workers nobody thinks much about. That to me is an essential element of a diorama. The viewer should be able to get the story it tells and be able to accept it without reservation. Even not knowing about the universe it’s part of the premise of automated mining is clear, and if the viewer buys that then the whole crystal power extraction theme is a much lighter thing to hang on the Willing Suspension Of Disbelief skyhook.

Most excellent, sir! The lighting effect, the balance of your use of materials in the composition, the color palette, and level of detail to scale; all just wonderful. This is the first one of your videos I have watched (and enjoyed immensely) and it will not be the last. The use of the Trinity test as a jumping off point for divergent earths really is fun story telling tool. The “what if” factor is the key to all great story telling, and every time someone encourages this approach it engages those utilizing it to think critically about relationships and narratives that actually have arcs. Great to see you promoting some form of this. Thanks for creating this, and I look forward to exploring your other offerings here.
