I've seen you use the little prebuilt grass tufts several times. Towan uses a technique for making your own, including varying the size and shape, using wax paper, glue, and a grass applicator. Check it out. :)

Read in several reference works that gasoline would likely not last over four years (that that wasn't flooded out). Find someone who managed to keep pumping oil, it's possible to distill gasoline, but not much. What kind of Floodedworld diorama could you cook up for someone keeping gas motors going? :) How about for a barge-based bunch who dive into shallower waters to salvage things for trade?
@empireranger3 күн бұрын
Love seeing all the techniques (really wish I could think of a reason to do the spider web thing!). I swear, I learn something new in every one of your videos. :) That said: on your splash screen, top rightmost, is what looks like a starship--yet I can find no such in your videos list. which one was that?
@ScaleModelGeek2 күн бұрын
That splash screen is just a combination of items that I put together when I first started the channel

I just got this machine and oMG! the instructions suck! I didn't understand why my camera wasn't working and thanks to you video I now know I needed to connect it via USB!!!! also... the instructions mention something call offset... don't understand what is that for.. any idea?
@ScaleModelGeek2 күн бұрын
Yeah, those instructions are not the best. Offset is how you tell the laser where to start from.
@andreweh48 күн бұрын
I didn't see you set 0 after levelling and the carbon in the filter is in a plastic wrap that must be removed before use.

A retro modern 40k ork battle wagon ... kinda insane thats + 35 years old now... love the banner (nod nod wink wink we know who) ... and for once a cotton ball of smoke looks like a puff of smoke and not...well a cotton ball! however, those orks look too clean? Good stuff! Waargh
@MrTAZORII24 күн бұрын
and then some random youtuber commenter comes along and says: you need a few decals (a nod to the motorbike like a triumph or norton) would kill the build... But yeah ! really good and great story telling

Likely a temperature issue with the cans of paint - it can affect how paint/gloss comes out ...always better to do such things in a medium/slightly warm temp range.

The way You look at the build design and manipulate it into a pleasing final form is awesome!! I really enjoy seeing how others work out a build! It is a great help for the creative juices for one's own build! Thank You for your consideration, effort, and sharing with all of Us here in tubeland! Looking forward to the next build video!
