World Champion Glider Pilot, Ray Lynskey, displays at Omaka

A great aerobatic display by former (1995) World Champion Glider Pilot, Ray Lynskey (1955 - 2009).
This video was shot at Ray's home base of Omaka Aerodrome in Blenheim (New Zealand) a few years before his premature death due to illness in 2009. This video is our tribute to a fantastic glider pilot.
This is a new upscaled and widescreen version of one of our earlier videos.

How popular is Gliding down in NZ and Australia? How Expensive is it? I fly in Germany and here it is very affordable for Students and Pensioners and everyone inbetween.
