I've never noticed Paulo has so few suscribers. Most mtg content creators I am suscribed to refer his videos from time to time, and he's always in a very high playing level. Regarding CGB having 5 times as many suscribers as Paulo, CGB you're a really cool guy, and many of us appreciate how constant and dedicated you are to create daily content. Thanks for that.

On arena I play colorless monument, and in paper I built a couple degenerate decks myself: One is a Vintage rakdos prison deck based around painter's servant, Bazaar trader, and alabaster leech. My play group won't let me use it. The other is a legacy Naya ramp/burn deck where every creature in it has Defender. It cuts through most decks like a hot knife through butter. My play group doesn't let me use that one much either...

it wasn't dimir rogues, it was dimir flash. pretty rare to see it nowadays but it still has the venom that rogues does, just without the mill plan that rogues tends to shoot for as a control-style deck. as someone who has played both, they play fairly differently in my experience. flash=aggro, rogues=control

I played this deck with an izzet giants deck and i thought i had it so many times, it had an andwer for everything: card draw, removal, counters. I even stole his shark typhoon and had two 5/5 sharks out and he had an answer for those too

Swapped out the 2 mystical dispute for 2 Saw it Coming after a few games, I found that by the time you want to be using the counter OP will have enough to pay for it and a hard counter is so much better in the mirror in most cases. The deck ramps so well you will often have the extra mana to foretell so its basically OG counterspell in this build. I also found that when i cast Ultimatum I only ever want to get Kioras, Alrunds and Valki. The extra turn always matters if they give it to you and if they dont they need to deal with Tibalt and a 8/8 hexproof and their board gets tapped down the following turn.

Rogues is extremely good, but even more hated than mono red. So if u dont want to play a hated deck you could play mono white if u like aggro or sultai ultimatum if u like control. Or look online, decks like naya Toski are pretty dope too

You should bring your yorian to your hand earlier when you don't have good plays. It's better than bluffing mana. Like at 28:03, you have nothing going on. Just bring him to your hand - that is why he is in the deck. In the previous game, you could have brought him back much earlier as well and he would have resolved when you had a much better board state for him. At 44:18, you could have absolutely brought him back, if not earlier. You're kind of just running an 80-card bad deck if you're not going to bring him into the game earlier.
