It is quite ridiculous that they interviewed someone from Balkan Insight. The journalist of the newspaper can't stand Croatia's independence. And that's super obvious. When the host asked how Croatia can produce such awesome football players he started talking about Yugoslavia. Bro, that country doesn't exists anymore, she didn't ask you was was there in the past.

I have to intervene, I don't think there is anything biased this guy said, or that he doesn't like Croatia, he just mentioned the historical fact relating to many talents that already appeared in the former state.

Bojana Kocijan open his newspaper. It's all the same news like in BiH that simply can get over the war and their disputes. No wonder the world looks at us like idiots. Croats dont care about such topics anymore.

Bojana Kocijan yugoslavia is past. Who cares how many sports ppl it had. I am 28, he looks like my age, if hes not living in the past, then i dont see how this can be the first think that comes to his mind. And btw the correct answer to the question is that many of the players play in internation clubs and that brings valuable experience.

The referee spoiled the game, the free kick that led to own goal, was a dive, and also the penalty wasn't a penalty, because we have experience a lot of hand ball in this competition, yet referee did not blow for penalty.

yes but what els t do exept to say C'est la vie

The referee spoiled nothing. For those who are observant , this was expected due the to fact that they (Croatia) have been struggling against small teams like Denmark and Russia.

HRVATSKA: CROATIA: 550,000 fans WELCOME CROATIAN team for the World Cup in Zagreb! Croatian police official records said more than 550,000 people were greeted by their heroes, our heroes, the Croatian soccer team on their arrival at the capital of Croatia from Moscow after they had won the World Cup finals in Russia and won the victory. silver medal. The aircraft carried by our players was followed by 2 MIG fighters of the Croatian National Army and first crossed the main city square and then landed safely at the airport. Passing through two water cannons, the aircraft stopped, and in that moment everything was ready for a celebration that the world had not yet seen. Even I'm not kidding, more than 250 foreign journalists were in Zagreb today, ready to send a picture of celebrations all over the world. and later in the video, you'll see what I'm talking about. Luka Modric, our captain, the winner of the Balon d'Or, the gold ball, comes out first, followed by teammates. All players went to a special non-roofed buses and a 6-hour trip to the main city square where the main welcome will be held. The distance from Zagreb's Franjo Tuđman airport to the main square of Trg Josip Bana Jelacic is 16km away, and usually, according to Google, it takes about 27min. car. Our team needed 6 hours to reach the final destination due to the huge number of fans all the way from the airport to the city square. In a special open-top bus, our players had an unforgettable getaway and celebrated with the whole nation. Everyone wanted to show gratitude for 30 days of extreme happiness and pride, which they gave us, our little people. everyone wanted to touch them, paint them or get an autograph on their flags, t-shirts, or any favorite sport needed in red and white cube. The most common word used to describe this event was STILL is "indescribable", and that word in Croatian language it sounds like NEOPISIVO! there is a song that was like a hymn during this World Cup with the same title!

Croatia is not Yugoslavia, Croatia has won its independence after the break-up of Yugoslavia. Yugoslavia no longer exists.
