It would be fair to give Africa the chance to host a second final. There has been only one final in Africa sofar. Besides Stadium Hassan the second in Casablanca in the largest of them all and definitely deserves the final.

The following three Moroccan stadiums: Marrakech + Agadir + Fez, will not be fully renovated for world cup until after AFCON 2025, but tangier stadium will be fully renovated before AFCON 2025, while Rabat and Casablanca stadiums are brand new stadiums, the first one will be ready before AFCON while the latter will be done by 2029.

I wish someone would explain why the Bernabéu appears to be losing about 3-5,000 seats for the World Cup and/or the current renovation situation. I initially thought it might be because it was set to lose seating due to additional pitchside advertising hoardings... and so, it must indeed currently be over 80,000... as it was before the renovation. But... the official figure does in fact appear to be now 78,297 anyway (which is what it was close to after the last big renovation in the noughties). But I could have sworn I saw the 2024 plan was set to be 80,000+ again. Further, the PDF document of the bid displays gross and net capacity figures for the venues... so, I'd like to know what that means too if it isn't to do with extra hoardings. For example, the Bernabéu bid capacity is 78,297 gross AND net, so it doesn't change anyway... but the RCDE Stadium loses 223 seats... and the (new new! and therefore not even built yet) Camp Nou goes from 103,447 to 101,379. And finally, the also incomplete Grand Stade Hassan II goes from 115,000 to 108,800! I'm very confused!
